Rolex in Geneva seeks a Group Manager, Technical Drawings to lead building and MEP drafting, ensure plan compliance and drive BIM/Revit integration.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and animate a team of building and technical drafters (building structure and building services such as HVAC/MEP), setting priorities and ensuring day‑to‑day productivity.
  • Assess the team’s competencies, tools and working methods and design and implement a strategic plan for the creation and development of the drafting unit.
  • Ensure the production, conformity, maintenance and version control of technical plans, guaranteeing compliance with legal regulations and internal standards.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of drawings from creation through archival or disposal, including documentation and traceability.
  • Support and drive the integration of 3D modelling and BIM workflows, with particular focus on Revit adoption across the group.
  • Promote and lead continuous improvement initiatives within the drafting group, including standards, templates and quality controls.

Qualifications

  • Initial technical education (technical diploma, engineering technician or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in team management, preferably in an industrial, manufacturing or building/construction environment.
  • Practical knowledge or strong interest in 3D technical drawing and BIM technologies; hands‑on experience with Revit is a significant asset.
  • Proficiency with standard office software and demonstrated ability to process and analyse data in spreadsheets.
  • Analytical and synthesis skills, rigour, structure and autonomy.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a large, complex environment; strong team spirit and service orientation.

Experience

Several years of hands‑on experience managing drafting teams within industrial, manufacturing or construction contexts; experience implementing BIM/Revit projects and managing drawing lifecycle processes preferred.
