EDM Programmer
Rolex in Geneva seeks an EDM Programmer to program erosion machines for stamping components. Permanent full‑time role.

Role & Responsibilities
- Define and implement programming strategies and tooling for manufacturing by electrical discharge machining (EDM).
- Develop, commission and validate EDM programs on shop-floor equipment; perform machine set-up and final tuning.
- Improve and roll out repeatable manufacturing processes to support internal and external production of stamping components.
- Establish and document functional and technical specifications for EDM processes and programs.
- Train and support operators and engineers during process transfers between industrialization, internal production and external suppliers.
- Audit supplier manufacturing processes and ensure conformity with internal standards.
- Participate in pre-acceptance tests and ramp-up activities for new production equipment.
Qualifications
- Swiss Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in polymechanics, ideally with specialization in erosion/EDM.
- Complementary training in manufacturing methods, quality control or process engineering is an asset.
- Confirmed technical expertise in EDM technologies and practical shop-floor experience.
- Proven ability to define and document functional and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills for resolving complex manufacturing problems.
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to train and collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- High degree of rigour, organisation and structured working methodology.
- Curiosity for new technologies and continuous improvement mindset.
Experience
Proven hands-on experience programming and commissioning EDM machines, deploying manufacturing processes, conducting supplier audits and supporting process transfers between industrialisation and production environments.
Education
Swiss Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in polymechanics; specialization in EDM preferred. Additional training in manufacturing methods, quality or process engineering is an advantage.
