Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team: set objectives, communicate strategic direction, conduct performance follow-ups and foster a collaborative, trust-based working climate.
- Ensure organisational effectiveness of the team: manage day-to-day operations, allocate resources, oversee recruitment and control budgets related to team operations and projects.
- Define, maintain and drive the programme roadmap to deliver digital solutions in production, aligning projects to business priorities and technical feasibility.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders and cross-functional partners to ensure optimized decision‑making, timely delivery and conformity with operational requirements.
- Report project status to steering committees and senior management; ensure transparent communication with all stakeholders.
- Continuously improve working methods and processes, facilitate change management and promote adoption of digital practices on the shop floor.
- Conduct technology watch to identify relevant innovations and propose their integration into production processes.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (EPF, HES or equivalent) or comparable technical qualification.
- Proven first experience in direct team management with responsibility for people development and performance.
- Demonstrated experience leading digital transformation projects, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at operational and governance levels.
- Personal qualities: decisive, unifying, excellent listener, client- and service-oriented, proactive, autonomous and quality-driven, with a collaborative team spirit.
Skills
Experience
Initial experience as a direct manager combined with hands-on involvement in digital transformation projects within an industrial or manufacturing context is required.
Education
Engineering degree (EPF, HES or equivalent) or comparable technical qualification.
