Role & Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install and maintain progressive and modular stamping dies, ensuring operational readiness on production presses.
  • Perform grinding, fine adjustments and set-up trials on presses to validate tool performance and part quality.
  • Inspect stamped parts for dimensional and aesthetic defects; diagnose root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate closely with the production department to optimize tooling performance and production flow.
  • Drive continuous improvement by proposing tooling modifications, participating in root-cause analysis and documenting changes.
  • Execute preventive maintenance and maintain accurate tooling records and maintenance logs.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, safety procedures and shop-floor best practices.

Qualifications

  • CFC Polymechanic (polymécanicien) or equivalent vocational qualification in mechanical/toolmaking.
  • Proven hands-on experience with stamping dies or high‑precision tooling in a mechanical or watchmaking environment.
  • Native French or German speaker with strong working proficiency in French.
  • Analytical mindset with a collaborative team spirit and strong adaptability.
  • Proactive, partnership-oriented, flexible, autonomous, well organised and rigorous.

Experience
