Rolex is seeking a Data Engineer in Geneva, Switzerland, to join its Information Systems division. The role involves managing data platforms and ensuring data quality and security.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support Data Science and Analytics teams in the industrialization of use cases.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain robust data pipelines.
  • Develop, implement, and automate data quality validation controls.
  • Participate in the implementation of cloud solutions (Snowflake, Azure, GCP) for data environments.
  • Optimize resource consumption and costs.
  • Promote the extension of the As A Service aspect of the data platform.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, and Security teams to ensure alignment with Rolex standards.
  • Provide Level 3 support.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Significant experience in data engineering.

Skills

In-depth knowledge of Data Quality principles and methods. Advanced proficiency in data management tools and technologies (Fivetran, Talend, Dataiku, Snowflake). Experience with major cloud providers (Azure, GCP) and DevOps tools (Terraform, Gitlab). Mastery of information security concepts. Professional proficiency in English. Knowledge of Tableau is an advantage. Service-oriented with strong communication skills, proactive, meticulous, autonomous, dynamic, and a team player.

Experience

Significant experience in data engineering is required.

Education

Advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
