Role & Responsibilities
- Define and provide cutting tools necessary for the industrialization of new products and machining processes.
- Maintain technical relationships with suppliers to ensure tool performance.
- Preserve expertise by managing and updating technical data and associated documents, including plans and reference standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing optimization actions.
- Act as the technical liaison for cutting tools with internal and external partners.
- Engage in technical exchanges with production to support cutting tools.
- Conduct technological watch on cutting tools by attending trade shows and regularly performing feasibility studies.
Qualifications
- CFC in polymecanics, Technician ES, or equivalent.
Skills
Experience
Experience in machining and cutting tool management, particularly with stainless steels and precious metals, is required.
Education
CFC in polymecanics, Technician ES, or equivalent.
