Rolex in Geneva seeks a Catering & Events Intern (6 months, full-time) — HR department internship supporting catering operations, events and supplier coordination.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the HR catering lead in daily operations and coordination of on-site food & beverage activities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of catering concepts and event food service plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate catering services, including follow-up with the contracted caterer and quality-control checks.
  • Draft, issue and track communications related to catering and events (internal notices, event briefs, supplier correspondence).
  • Maintain records and reporting for regular catering activities and supplier performance.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a hotel school, hospitality management programme or equivalent.
  • Previous practical experience in catering and/or event operations.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong written communication abilities.
  • Good analytical capacity and a clear sense of priorities.
  • Demonstrated proactivity, autonomy and initiative in operational settings.
  • Comfortable with common IT tools and basic office software.

Experience

Practical experience in catering and/or event management is required; previous internships or operational roles in food & beverage or events are preferred.
