Rolex in Geneva seeks a Business Analyst — Master Data to lead SAP MDG master data governance and data migrations for products, partners and production.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the functional lead for master data, bridging business requirements and IT solutions to ensure excellence of reference data within an SAP landscape.
  • Analyse, challenge and formalise business needs across end‑to‑end processes for Articles/Products, Pricing, Business Partners (customers/suppliers) and production data (e.g. Bill of Materials, routings).
  • Design and model governance processes in SAP MDG, including workflows, business rules, roles and responsibilities for creation, change and validation.
  • Author clear functional specifications and follow developments and integrations (SAP and non‑SAP) to ensure delivered solutions meet requirements.
  • Plan, execute and document functional testing and acceptance; participate in data migration projects including source analysis, mapping rules, cutover coordination and hypercare support.
  • Define, implement and monitor data quality KPIs (completeness, uniqueness, freshness) to drive continuous improvement.
  • Train and support end users, produce user guides and provide functional assistance to secure adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Maintain technological and methodological vigilance on Master Data Management best practices and SAP solution evolutions.

Qualifications

  • Engineer degree or Master’s (Computer Science, Data or equivalent).
  • 3–5 years minimum experience on SAP topics, with demonstrable involvement in master data governance and data quality.
  • Practical knowledge of Article/Product objects, Business Partner (customer/supplier) and ideally production (PP) master data.
  • Proficiency with SAP MDG and familiarity with S/4HANA strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to run workshops, formalise processes and business rules, write functional specifications and coordinate multi‑stakeholder activities.
  • Methodical, autonomous, service‑oriented and pragmatic with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • French: fluent; English: professional working proficiency.

Experience
