5S Deployment Intern

Role & Responsibilities
- Support coordination and ongoing management of the division's 5S programme.
- Initiate and lead new 5S projects across production and logistics areas.
- Re-animate and operationalise 5S activities in sites or teams that are not yet autonomous.
- Act as an accompanying auditor during annual 5S audits (preliminary, intermediate and final stages).
- Foster and maintain a positive, improvement-focused group dynamic.
- Supervise the implementation of signage and floor marking in accordance with 5S standards.
- Ensure adherence to the 5S reference system and maintain its proper application.
- Contribute to projects related to the relocation and reorganisation of logistics platforms.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master's programme in Mechanical Engineering, Management Technology and Entrepreneurship or an equivalent discipline.
- Solid understanding of Lean principles and/or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office with excellent command of Excel.
- Comfortable facilitating workshops and leading group sessions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Adaptable with a structured, analytical mindset.
- Availability for a six-month internship.
Skills
Experience
No prior professional experience is mandatory; academic projects or previous internships in Lean or continuous improvement are advantageous. The role is a six-month internship intended to provide practical experience in 5S deployment within a manufacturing/logistics context.
Education
Master's-level studies (in progress) in Mechanical Engineering, Management Technology and Entrepreneurship or equivalent.
