Retail IT Domain Manager
RIMOWA is hiring a Retail IT Domain Manager in Paris to lead CEGID Y2 POS, team delivery and retail IT operations.
Overview

Role & Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the Retail IT roadmap for POS and store systems (primary focus on CEGID Y2), ensuring alignment with global business priorities and team capacity.
- Lead, develop and recruit for a cross‑functional team (2 internal project managers, 3+ external technical leads/project managers and an L2 support team), embedding processes that support delivery and operational excellence.
- Own Retail IT budget planning and tracking; advocate for required spend and ensure actuals align with forecast.
- Assign projects to project managers, review deliverables, guide work through key milestones and maintain continuous stakeholder engagement with business counterparts.
- Manage risks, dependencies and vendor relationships; escalate and secure cross‑domain commitments to protect retail delivery timelines.
- Ensure POS uptime and operational stability: incident management, impact analysis, recovery and root cause investigations.
- Guarantee compliance of POS with non‑functional requirements including CEGID upgrades, legal/tax constraints, security and Group standards.
Qualifications
- 6–10 years’ experience in Retail IT, including at least 3–4 years in a lead, project or domain management role.
- Proven experience managing external vendors and technology partners across retail programs.
- Deep understanding of retail processes: sales flows, payments, after‑sales, stock management and store operations.
- Demonstrable ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions and prioritise competing demands.
- Fluent French and professional proficiency in English.

Experience
Minimum 6–10 years in Retail IT with at least 3–4 years in a leadership or domain/project management capacity; demonstrable track record of delivering POS and store systems projects, managing vendors and operating in international, cross‑functional environments. Experience in premium or luxury retail is an advantage.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent; advanced degree or relevant professional qualifications preferred.
