Rimowa seeks a Human Resources Intern in New York to support recruitment, onboarding and employee engagement for its luxury retail teams.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruitment activities including sourcing candidates, screening CVs, coordinating interviews and preparing offer and rejection communications.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding logistics, prepare orientation materials and support induction sessions for new hires.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute employee engagement events and internal communications relating to those initiatives.
  • Maintain and update confidential employee records and organizational charts, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with privacy standards.
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics as requested by HR leadership.
  • Provide administrative support to HR and retail teams and respond to routine employee inquiries regarding policies and benefits.
  • Perform ad hoc HR tasks and projects as assigned by the HR Manager.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of prior HR coursework or internship experience.
  • Currently enrolled in a BA or BS program at an accredited university.
  • Strong administrative, organizational and time-management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills suitable for interfacing with senior leadership.

Experience

Beginner — at least one year of academic coursework or internship experience in Human Resources or a related field; prior exposure to retail HR or recruitment preferred.
