Role & Responsibilities
- Support certified watchmakers and technicians in daily atelier tasks under direct supervision.
- Assist with basic disassembly, cleaning, inspection and reassembly of watch components and simple movements.
- Perform routine polishing, parts handling and finishing operations to workshop standards.
- Maintain workshop organisation and instrument care, including tool cleaning and inventory logging.
- Complete practical training exercises and technical assignments designed to develop hand skills and horological knowledge.
- Record work activity and findings in logbooks or assigned documentation systems.
- Adhere strictly to health & safety, security and confidentiality procedures within the atelier environment.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or graduating high school senior eligible for a summer internship.
- Demonstrable interest in mechanical watchmaking, horology or precision mechanics.
- Excellent manual dexterity and fine motor control.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical, patient approach to tasks.
- Reliable punctuality and the ability to follow structured instruction and workshop protocols.

Experience
No prior professional watchmaking experience required; practical experience from school workshops, hobby horology, STEM clubs or related mechanical activities is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
High school diploma or current status as a high school graduating senior eligible for a summer internship.
