Richemont is hiring a Visual Design Manager in New York to lead brand visual identity, campaigns and retail visuals for its maisons.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve visual identity systems and brand assets to ensure cohesive expression across campaigns, digital, retail and print channels.
  • Lead art direction for seasonal campaigns, product launches, window displays and in-store visual merchandising in partnership with marketing and retail teams.
  • Produce high-fidelity visual assets and templates for digital advertising, e‑commerce, social media, packaging and point-of-sale materials.
  • Manage, mentor and develop a team of designers and coordinate external creative agencies and production vendors to deliver on time and on brand.
  • Establish and enforce brand guidelines, maintain asset libraries and ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with product, merchandising and marketing to translate commercial priorities into compelling visual stories.
  • Oversee quality control of final deliverables, including colour accuracy, typography, layout and technical specifications for print and digital production.

Qualifications

  • Proven portfolio demonstrating high-calibre visual, campaign and brand work—preferably within luxury goods or premium lifestyle brands.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in visual/graphic design with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity (or equivalent).
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and experience with digital design tools such as Figma or Sketch.
  • Strong art direction skills, including typography, colour theory, composition and motion principles.
  • Experience briefing and managing external agencies, photographers and production partners.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present creative rationale to senior stakeholders.

Experience

Broad experience designing and directing visual campaigns for luxury or premium brands, with a demonstrable track record of leading creative teams and managing agency partnerships. Ideal candidates will have led visual identity work across both physical retail and digital commerce environments.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
