Upstream Supply Chain Planning Technical Team Lead
Richemont seeks an Upstream Supply Chain Planning Technical Team Lead in Meyrin, Switzerland to lead planning systems and integrations.

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for upstream supply chain planning platforms and integrations.
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for planning systems (demand planning, inventory optimisation, MRP/S&OP interfaces) to support global upstream sourcing and production.
- Architect and oversee development of robust data pipelines, APIs and integrations between ERP, planning engines and downstream applications.
- Collaborate closely with supply chain planners, sourcing, manufacturing and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Ensure operational reliability: implement monitoring, incident response, release management and continuous improvement practices.
- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices (CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code) and ensure strong data governance and quality.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and systems integrators; govern third-party deliveries and solution fit-for-purpose.
Qualifications
- Proven track record as a technical lead or engineering manager in supply chain technology or planning domain.
- Deep understanding of upstream supply chain processes (demand translation, supply planning, MRP, S&OP) and how they map to IT solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to bridge business and technical teams across global organisations.
- Demonstrable experience delivering integrations between ERP and planning systems, and implementing API-based architectures.
- Solid grasp of software delivery lifecycle, data modelling, test automation and cloud-native deployment patterns.
Skills
Experience
Typically 7+ years of experience in supply chain IT, planning systems or related digital functions, with at least 3 years in a hands-on technical leadership role delivering enterprise-grade planning solutions.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
