Richemont is hiring a Travel Retail Manager in Seoul to lead duty‑free channel strategy and commercial partnerships for the travel retail network.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the travel retail (duty‑free and travel retail) commercial strategy for the assigned market, aligned with global and regional priorities.
  • Manage relationships with duty‑free operators, travel retail partners and local distributors; negotiate commercial terms, promotions and retail space allocations.
  • Deliver sales targets, margin objectives and inventory optimisation through rigorous forecasting, allocation and replenishment processes.
  • Develop and implement channel-specific merchandising, visual standards and in-store activations to maximise conversion at airports and travel hubs.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional activities with marketing, product, logistics and finance teams to ensure campaign execution, product availability and compliance.
  • Monitor and analyse channel KPIs, market trends and competitor activity; translate insights into tactical recommendations and business cases.
  • Manage promotional budgets and trade spend; report on ROI and maintain up-to-date commercial dashboards.
  • Represent the brand at industry events, buyer meetings and airport stakeholder forums; travel regularly to key airports and partner locations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, retail management or equivalent; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in travel retail or duty‑free within the luxury sector, with a successful record of managing distributors and channel partnerships.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with experience managing P&L, budgets and trade spend.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute merchandising and in‑store activations across travel retail environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Experience

Typically 5+ years of progressive experience in travel retail, duty‑free or airport retail within the luxury or premium consumer goods sector, including direct responsibility for distributor or operator relationships and commercial delivery.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, retail management or a related discipline; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred but not required.
