Training Manager
Richemont seeks a Training Manager in Dubai to lead regional learning & development for its luxury maisons.
Overview
Richemont is an international luxury goods group comprising prestigious maisons across jewellery, watchmaking, leather goods and writing instruments, including names such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels and Montblanc. The group emphasizes craftsmanship, creative excellence and long-term brand stewardship, operating through a network of maisons and regional teams to support premium retail and wholesale operations worldwide.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and implement the regional learning & development strategy aligned with maison brand priorities and commercial objectives.
- Design, develop and deliver instructor-led and digital training programmes covering product knowledge, clienteling, sales techniques and leadership development.
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS): course deployment, enrolment workflows, reporting and continuous content updates.
- Conduct training needs analyses and partner with HR, retail leadership and brand teams to prioritise capability gaps and learning interventions.
- Create measurement frameworks to evaluate training effectiveness (KPIs, ROI, assessments) and produce regular performance reports for stakeholders.
- Lead, coach and certify internal trainers and manage relationships with external training providers and e‑learning vendors.
- Control training budgets, timelines and project plans; ensure consistency of learning standards across boutiques and regional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Professional certification in learning & development or HR (e.g., CIPD, ATD) preferred.
- Strong facilitation and instructional design credentials; formal training in adult learning principles and e‑learning authoring is advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage cross‑functional stakeholder relationships within a luxury retail environment.
Skills
Experience
Typically 5+ years of progressive experience in learning & development, ideally with demonstrable experience in luxury or premium retail environments; experience implementing regional programmes and managing LMS platforms is expected.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business or a related field; professional L&D certification preferred.
