Richemont is hiring a Supply Chain Business Analyst in Moscavide, Portugal — analytics role supporting demand planning, inventory optimisation and S&OP.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain management dashboards and reports that translate transactional data into actionable supply‑chain insights for merchandise, procurement and logistics teams.
  • Support demand planning and inventory optimisation processes through statistical analysis, scenario modelling and collaboration with commercial and operations stakeholders.
  • Deliver root‑cause analyses for stock variances, service‑level shortfalls and supplier performance; propose and track corrective action plans.
  • Contribute to S&OP cycles, providing supply‑side capacity assessments, lead‑time analysis and inventory projection updates.
  • Drive process improvement and system enhancement initiatives, partnering with IT and business process owners to implement changes in ERP and analytics platforms.
  • Define and monitor KPIs for inventory turns, fill rate, forecast accuracy and working capital; prepare executive summaries for senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Economics or a related discipline.
  • Proven analytical acumen with the ability to transform large datasets into concise commercial recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional communication skills, able to influence product, procurement and logistics teams.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines in a fast‑paced, matrixed luxury retail environment.
  • Familiarity with Lean or continuous improvement methodologies; certification (e.g., APICS/CPIM or Lean Six Sigma) is advantageous.

Experience

Typically 3–5 years of experience in supply chain analytics, demand planning or inventory management within retail, luxury goods, manufacturing or a distribution environment; prior exposure to ERP implementations or data‑driven transformation projects is desirable.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Economics or a related field.
