Richemont (Montblanc) seeks a Summer Retail Intern in Marne-la-Vallée, France — internship in boutique sales, merchandising and operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support boutique sales activity through client reception, product presentation and clienteling under the supervision of senior advisors.
  • Assist with visual merchandising and window presentation to ensure brand standards and seasonal campaigns are executed precisely.
  • Process sales transactions and after‑sales requests using the store point‑of‑sale system, ensuring accurate paperwork and payment handling.
  • Control stock, participate in inventory counts and manage back‑of‑house organization to maintain product availability.
  • Contribute to daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, housekeeping and compliance with loss‑prevention policies.
  • Prepare sales and activity reports, and liaise with store management on client follow‑ups and appointment scheduling.
  • Participate in product training sessions to build product knowledge across Montblanc categories (writing instruments, leather goods, watches).

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business, Luxury Management, Marketing, Hospitality or a related discipline.
  • Available for a fixed‑term summer internship period as specified by the boutique.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a client‑focused attitude and polished professional presentation.
  • Proven organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
  • Flexible availability including weekends and peak retail hours; ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Previous customer‑facing or retail experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
