Richemont seeks a Senior Client Advisor at Harrods, London — senior luxury retail role delivering VIP service and driving sales for prestige maisons.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and expand a high-value client portfolio through proactive prospecting, clienteling and personalised service to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Deliver impeccable VIP-level service and bespoke sales experiences consistent with Richemont maison standards and Harrods retail protocols.
  • Manage all stages of the sales cycle for luxury product transactions, including product presentation, pricing explanation, after-sales follow-up and client documentation.
  • Coordinate and host private viewings, trunk shows and in-store events for high-net-worth clients and collectors.
  • Mentor and coach junior sales colleagues on selling techniques, product knowledge and client relationship management.
  • Maintain meticulous records in CRM and POS systems, prepare daily sales reporting and contribute to stock management and merchandising decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, brand and store security procedures, including cash handling, valuations and client confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with in-house and maison teams (after-sales, client services, visual merchandising) to optimise the client journey and resolve complex enquiries.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in luxury retail sales with demonstrable achievement against targets.
  • Experience selling high-ticket jewellery and/or watches preferred; knowledge of complications, gemology or haute horlogerie an advantage.
  • Strong clienteling capability with experience managing VIP and HNW client relationships.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and numerical literacy for closing complex transactions and managing reservations.
  • Professional presentation, discretion and a service-first attitude appropriate to a prestigious retail environment.

Experience

Senior-level retail experience in the luxury sector; typically 3+ years of high-value sales experience with a proven record of acquiring and retaining affluent clients. Prior exposure to watches or jewellery retail is strongly preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or tertiary qualification in retail, hospitality, sales or a related discipline preferred but not required.
