Senior Accountant
Richemont is hiring a Senior Accountant in Shelton, USA. Responsible for month‑end close, GL reconciliations and US GAAP reporting.

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead month‑end close activities including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations for assigned entities.
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports in accordance with US GAAP and group accounting policies.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts; investigate and resolve balance sheet variances.
- Coordinate intercompany accounting, monthly eliminations and reconciliations for consolidation.
- Support statutory and management reporting deadlines; deliver timely commentary on variances and KPIs.
- Interface with business partners (operations, inventory, treasury, tax) to ensure accurate recording of transactions.
- Prepare audit schedules and support external and internal audit inquiries.
- Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems controls; assist with ERP/configuration projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience applying group accounting policies.
- Proven ability to deliver accurate month‑end close and financial reporting under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience with account reconciliations, intercompany accounting and audit support.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience
Typically 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate finance environment, with direct responsibility for month‑end close, financial reporting and reconciliations. Experience within luxury retail, wholesale or multi‑entity groups is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
