Role & Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives) and ensure consistent application of Agile practices across one or more cross-functional teams.
- Coach development teams, product owners and stakeholders in Agile principles and servant-leadership to improve delivery cadence, quality and predictability.
- Remove impediments and escalate risks to enable uninterrupted delivery while fostering continuous improvement and a culture of ownership.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, PMO and business stakeholders to refine backlogs, clarify acceptance criteria and optimise workflow and priorities.
- Track and report team metrics (velocity, sprint burn-down, cycle time) to measure performance and guide process improvements.
- Support scaling of Agile practices across programs, participate in cross-team coordination (PI planning, Scrum of Scrums) and contribute to broader Agile transformation efforts.
Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification preferred.
- Proven experience coaching Agile teams and implementing Scrum at team and program level.
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to mediate conflicts and align cross-functional stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience using Agile metrics to drive continuous improvement and delivery outcomes.
Skills
Experience
Typically 3–5 years of experience working in Agile delivery roles, with at least two years acting as a Scrum Master or Agile coach for cross-functional software or digital teams; experience within enterprise IT or omnichannel retail/digital transformation is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
