Salesforce Development Lead
Richemont seeks a Salesforce Development Lead in Moscavide, Portugal to lead Salesforce architecture, integrations and a development team.

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead design, architecture and implementation of Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service and Commerce clouds, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business objectives.
- Manage and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and contractors, providing technical guidance, code reviews and career development.
- Define and enforce development standards, CI/CD pipelines (Salesforce DX), branching strategy and deployment governance.
- Own integrations between Salesforce and backend systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (e.g., Mulesoft) or integration patterns appropriate to the platform.
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders and global IT teams to translate requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions and release plans.
- Drive platform roadmap, technical debt reduction, performance optimisation and secure data models across orgs.
- Establish testing strategy (unit, integration, UAT) and monitor production health; lead incident response and post-release retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience delivering enterprise Salesforce programmes and leading development teams.
- Salesforce certifications required or strongly preferred (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect or Technical Architect).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security model, data modelling, and multi-org strategies.
- Demonstrable experience with CI/CD for Salesforce (Salesforce DX), source-driven development and automated deployments.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to operate in a global, matrixed organisation.

Experience
Typically 6+ years of Salesforce development experience with at least 2 years in a technical lead role on enterprise-scale implementations, including integrations and cross-functional delivery.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent practical experience.
