Richemont is hiring a Sales Manager in Madrid to lead boutique sales, coach staff and drive client development for its luxury maison.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a boutique sales team to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets, ensuring exemplary client service.
  • Develop and implement clienteling strategies to maximise lifetime value, retention and VIP acquisition.
  • Manage daily retail operations including staff scheduling, stock management, visual merchandising and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Set, monitor and report on KPIs (sales per head, conversion, average transaction value) and implement corrective actions to drive performance.
  • Collaborate with regional management on merchandising, product launches and in‑store events to optimise client engagement.
  • Oversee administrative responsibilities such as cash handling, POS reconciliation, inventory controls and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of leadership in luxury retail with demonstrable achievement against sales targets.
  • Excellent clienteling and relationship‑building skills with high standards of discretion and service.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing KPIs, P&L awareness and basic financial controls.
  • Ability to coach, motivate and develop a small team; strong interpersonal and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and peak seasonal periods.

Experience

Minimum three years of experience in luxury retail sales, including at least one year in a supervisory or managerial capacity, with responsibility for team performance and sales targets.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline preferred; professional qualifications or formal training in retail or luxury brand management advantageous.
