Richemont in Zurich is hiring a Sales Associate to deliver boutique-level client service and achieve sales targets.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary, personalised service to private and walk-in clients, cultivating long-term relationships and repeat business.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through consultative selling, cross-selling and clienteling.
  • Manage client appointments, follow-up communications and post‑sales care using clienteling tools and CRM processes.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions accurately and maintain cash-handling and reconciliation standards.
  • Ensure the boutique environment reflects brand visual standards: merchandising, inventory presentation and housekeeping.
  • Support stock management activities including receiving, replenishment, stock counts and shrinkage controls.
  • Coordinate with the wider team and maison specialists for events, trunk shows and VIP client experiences.
  • Adhere to brand policies, compliance procedures and exceptional service protocols at all times.

Qualifications

  • Previous client-facing experience in luxury retail or premium boutique environments; proven sales record preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a client-first approach and a demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Commercial acumen with experience meeting measurable sales targets and KPIs.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and clienteling/CRM tools; comfortable with digital appointment and follow-up workflows.
  • Professional presentation and understanding of luxury brand standards; discretion when handling high-value clients and merchandise.
  • Fluency in the local language (German) and strong spoken English are highly desirable; additional languages an advantage.

Experience

Typically 1–3 years of client-facing experience in luxury retail, jewellery or watch boutiques; demonstrable success meeting sales targets and managing high-value client relationships.

Secondary education with a vocational qualification in retail, commerce or a related discipline preferred; relevant in‑house or brand training will be provided.
