Richemont (Chloé) seeks a Sales Associate in Tokyo to deliver exceptional luxury client service and drive boutique sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver elevated, personalised client service and build long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets and KPI metrics.
  • Demonstrate deep product knowledge across ready-to-wear, leather goods and accessories; translate product features into compelling client recommendations.
  • Execute daily boutique operations including point-of-sale transactions, cash handling, stock replenishment and receiving.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and boutique presentation in line with brand guidelines.
  • Support store events, private viewings and client appointments; collaborate with the team to optimise customer flow and experience.
  • Contribute to CRM data quality and sales reporting; liaise with regional teams on promotions and inventory.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail experience (typically 1–3 years) in luxury fashion, premium accessories or a high-end boutique environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Impeccable personal presentation, polished interpersonal skills and a client-centric demeanour.
  • Strong numeracy and cash-handling accuracy.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and local public holidays.
  • Right to work in Japan is required; business-level Japanese is typically expected, with English language skills considered an advantage.

Experience
