Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client service and build long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through consultative selling and upselling of luxury products.
- Maintain expert product knowledge across relevant categories and communicate brand heritage and craftsmanship to clients.
- Ensure boutique visual merchandising and presentation standards are upheld at all times.
- Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions accurately and handle returns/exchanges in line with company policy.
- Manage stock: receive, store, tag and reconcile inventory; support merchandising and inventory audits.
- Support after-sales service and client care, coordinating repairs, warranties or bespoke requests as required.
- Collaborate with the boutique team and management to deliver a seamless client experience and support store operations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in luxury retail or boutique sales (typically 1–3 years preferred).
- Impeccable personal presentation and professional demeanour appropriate for a luxury environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and use consultative selling techniques.
- Right to work in Australia (legal authorization to be employed in Australia).
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–3 years of boutique or luxury retail sales experience with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering high-touch client service.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; vocational qualification in retail, fashion or luxury brand management preferred but not required.
