Richemont in Geneva seeks a Sales Associate to deliver personalised luxury client service and achieve boutique sales targets.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary, personalised service to high-net-worth and repeat clientele, cultivating long-term relationships and client files (clienteling).
  • Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through proactive advising, cross-selling and upselling of products.
  • Demonstrate and maintain deep product knowledge across the maison’s assortment (e.g., watches, jewellery, leather goods), advising clients on craftsmanship, provenance and after‑sales care.
  • Manage point-of-sale activities including transactions, returns, reservations and accurate record-keeping in the boutique’s systems.
  • Maintain boutique standards for visual merchandising, stock presentation and housekeeping to reflect the maison’s brand image.
  • Support stock management: receiving, replenishment, inventory counts and adherence to loss-prevention procedures.
  • Coordinate with CRM tools and boutique management to follow up on leads, appointments and post‑sale service.
  • Represent the maison professionally at client events, private appointments and VIP viewings; ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to deliver high-level client service in a luxury retail environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with tact, discretion and cultural sensitivity when dealing with affluent clients.
  • Numerate and detail-oriented with experience handling transactions and basic sales reporting.
  • Fluent presentation and grooming standards appropriate for a luxury boutique.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and high-traffic retail periods.

Experience

Typically 1–3 years of retail experience, preferably with a luxury or premium brand; experience working with high-value products and private clients is highly desirable.
