Richemont (Cartier) seeks a Retail Trainee (Alternance) in Paris — join the Richemont Retail Generation programme to develop luxury retail and clienteling skills.
Overview

Role & Responsibilities
- Support daily boutique operations, including client welcome, clienteling and point‑of‑sale transactions.
- Assist the sales team in achieving commercial targets through proactive prospecting and personalised service.
- Contribute to visual merchandising and store standards to ensure brand presentation and product integrity.
- Manage stock movements, basic inventory tasks and sales administration with accuracy and discretion.
- Participate in trainings, product briefings and brand initiatives as part of the Richemont Retail Generation programme.
- Support client events, appointments and CRM data updates to strengthen long‑term client relationships.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in an accredited higher education programme (Bachelor’s or Master’s track) in business, luxury management, marketing or a related discipline suitable for an alternance contract.
- Legal authorization to work in France for the duration of the alternance.
- Availability for a work‑study rhythm and flexible retail hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Strong interpersonal skills, commercial orientation and a professional presentation suitable for luxury retail.

Experience
Previous retail or client‑facing experience is advantageous but not mandatory; the programme is designed for candidates at the start of their commercial careers and prioritises potential, client focus and willingness to learn within a luxury environment.
Education
Currently enrolled in a relevant tertiary education programme (Bachelor’s or Master’s track) compatible with an alternance/work‑study contract.
