Retail Trainee
Richemont seeks a Retail Trainee in São Paulo: entry-level role supporting luxury retail operations, client service and merchandising.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling and POS transactions under supervision.
- Deliver exceptional client service and assist in building long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
- Learn and present detailed product knowledge across relevant categories (jewellery, watches, leather goods or accessories) to clients and colleagues.
- Assist with visual merchandising and window displays to ensure brand standards and seasonal concepts are executed consistently.
- Participate in inventory management: receiving, stock reconciliation, replenishment and cycle counts.
- Contribute to appointment management, event preparation and high-touch sales moments alongside senior sales staff.
- Complete assigned training modules and performance reviews; translate learning into measurable sales and service behaviours.
- Prepare concise sales and client reports for store management and escalate client feedback or service issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, hospitality, fashion, luxury management or related field preferred; recent graduates and early‑career candidates considered.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated orientation to client service and relationship building.
- Attention to detail and a keen visual sense for merchandising and presentation.
- Reliable numeracy for cash handling and basic sales reporting.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends, and to participate in a structured trainee schedule or rotations.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; typically 0–2 years of customer-facing experience in retail, luxury, hospitality or related service sectors. Internships, part-time retail work or trainee placements in luxury environments are advantageous.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred; vocational diploma or equivalent practical retail experience accepted.
