Richemont seeks a Retail Trainee (Curricular Internship) in Athens — hands-on luxury retail training in client service, merchandising and store operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support in-store teams with day-to-day retail operations, including client reception, sales support and after-sales follow-up.
  • Assist with visual merchandising and window presentation to uphold brand standards and seasonal directives.
  • Operate and learn the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, returns and client record maintenance.
  • Participate in stock management tasks: receiving, tagging, replenishment and inventory checks.
  • Perform administrative duties such as appointment scheduling, sales reporting and liaison with headquarters.
  • Observe and apply clienteling techniques to contribute to relationship-building and client retention.
  • Contribute to store projects and training sessions to develop product knowledge and selling skills.

Qualifications

  • Current enrolment in a university-level programme (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business, Marketing, Fashion, Retail Management or a related discipline; curricular internship status required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a professional demeanour appropriate to luxury retail environments.
  • Fluency in Greek and a strong command of English is highly desirable (language requirements may be specified by the maison).
  • Legal authorisation to undertake a curricular internship in Greece.
  • Availability to work retail hours including evenings and weekends as required by store operations.

Experience

No prior luxury-retail experience is required; previous customer-facing, retail or hospitality experience is advantageous and will be considered favorably.

Education

Enrolled in a tertiary-level programme (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business, Marketing, Fashion, Retail Management or a related field; curricular internship placement required.
