Richemont seeks a Retail Operations Intern in Madrid to support store operations, inventory, merchandising and retail reporting.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support daily store operations including opening/closing procedures and point-of-sale transactions
  • Assist with inventory management: stock receives, replenishment, cycle counts and stock discrepancy investigations
  • Contribute to visual merchandising and product presentation to maintain brand standards
  • Prepare and analyse basic sales and operational reports for the local retail team
  • Maintain CRM and sales records, ensure customer data is up to date and assist with appointment scheduling
  • Support loss-prevention and store compliance tasks, including documentation and audit preparation
  • Coordinate with logistics and store support teams to follow up on deliveries, repairs and inter-store transfers
  • Provide high-quality customer service on the sales floor when required and support clienteling activities

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s program in Business, Retail Management, Luxury Brand Management, or a related discipline
  • Availability to complete an internship period (typical retail internships are full-time for a defined term)
  • High attention to detail and a strong service orientation appropriate to a luxury retail environment
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple operational tasks under supervision
  • Ability to work flexible retail hours, including evenings and weekends

Experience

No extensive professional experience is required; prior part-time retail, customer-facing roles or previous internships in retail or luxury environments are advantageous. Practical exposure to stock control, POS operation or CRM entry will be considered a plus.

Enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant tertiary programme (e.g., Business, Retail Management, Luxury Brand Management)
