Retail Controlling Apprentice
Richemont Paris seeks a Retail Controlling Apprentice (alternance) to support store reporting, budgeting and retail performance analysis.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the retail controlling team with weekly and monthly store performance reports, sales analysis and KPI tracking.
- Prepare and reconcile sales, margin and inventory data for stores and regions; identify trends and variances.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles, including preparation of store-level budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Assist in month‑end closing tasks related to retail operations and produce management packs for stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and automated reports to streamline reporting processes.
- Perform ad hoc financial analyses and business cases to support commercial and operational decision-making.
- Collaborate with retail operations, merchandising and finance teams to ensure data integrity and alignment on metrics.
- Participate in projects to improve reporting tools, processes and controls across the retail network.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a recognised degree program (Bachelor's or Master’s) in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or equivalent — seeking an alternance/apprenticeship placement.
- Strong numerical aptitude with rigorous attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Interest in luxury retail and understanding of store-driven business models.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role: candidates should have prior internship(s) or coursework experience in finance, controlling or retail analytics (typically 3–12 months combined). Experience working with sales or store financial data is advantageous.
Education
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related discipline; eligible for alternance/apprenticeship contracts in France.
