Quality Assurance Technician
Richemont seeks a Quality Assurance Technician in Plan-les-Ouates, Switzerland — responsible for inspection, metrology and quality control in luxury manufacturing.

Role & Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process and final inspections of components and finished products according to defined quality plans and specifications.
- Operate precision metrology equipment (CMM, micrometers, calipers, optical microscopes) and record measurements in quality systems.
- Document non-conformities, generate inspection reports and initiate corrective actions in collaboration with production and engineering teams.
- Support root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive action programs to reduce defects and improve process capability.
- Maintain inspection fixtures, gauges and measurement equipment; participate in calibration and verification activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulatory/industry requirements; contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Vocational diploma or equivalent in watchmaking, micro-mechanics, mechanical engineering or quality assurance.
- Practical understanding of dimensional metrology and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).
- Familiarity with quality documentation practices, non-conformance reporting and basic statistical process control.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity suited to precision manufacturing environments.
Skills
Experience
Practical experience in quality control within precision manufacturing or watchmaking is preferred; experience operating metrology equipment and contributing to corrective-action workflows is highly valued.
Education
Vocational diploma or equivalent in watchmaking, micro-mechanics, mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline.
