Richemont seeks a Project Manager, Store Design Planning & Construction (LAC) in Miami to lead retail construction projects across Latin America & the Caribbean.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end store design, planning and construction projects across Latin America & the Caribbean (LAC), ensuring delivery on schedule and within budget.
  • Translate corporate and brand design standards into executable local plans; ensure consistency of finishes, FF&E installation and store experience.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts and cost-control measures; authorise and monitor expenditures and change orders in collaboration with finance.
  • Select, appoint and supervise external consultants, general contractors and specialist subcontractors; drive tender processes and contract negotiation.
  • Obtain and track permits, regulatory approvals and local code compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including retail operations, visual merchandising, procurement, legal and senior leadership.
  • Implement risk management and quality assurance procedures on-site; conduct regular site inspections and progress reporting.
  • Develop project schedules, milestone tracking and travel plans; provide clear status reports and escalation when required.
  • Ensure procurement and delivery of FF&E, technical equipment and store fixtures to meet installation timelines.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a closely related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven track record managing medium-to-large retail construction projects within the luxury or premium retail sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable experience in budget management, tendering and contract negotiation.
  • Working knowledge of local permitting and building regulations across LAC markets, or demonstrable experience managing multi-jurisdiction projects remotely.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to lead multicultural teams and external partners.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience managing retail store design and construction projects, preferably within luxury or premium retail and with multi-market exposure in Latin America & the Caribbean. Experience with end-to-end project delivery, contractor management and high-end finishes is essential.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent. Professional certifications (e.g., PMP) are advantageous.
