Production Planner
Richemont seeks a Production Planner (fixed-term) in Milan to manage scheduling, material planning and cross‑functional coordination for luxury manufacturing.

Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the master production schedule to meet customer delivery dates and internal targets.
- Translate demand forecasts and orders into feasible production plans, balancing capacity, lead times and inventory levels.
- Coordinate material availability and release of work orders, collaborating closely with procurement, quality control and workshop teams.
- Identify bottlenecks and capacity constraints; propose and implement corrective actions to optimise throughput and on-time delivery.
- Monitor production KPIs (on-time delivery, lead times, inventory turns) and produce regular reports for operations and supply chain stakeholders.
- Liaise with external suppliers and subcontractors to ensure alignment to schedules and quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy, reduce lead times and minimise obsolescence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in production planning, supply chain or manufacturing scheduling within a precision or luxury manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical aptitude with demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable production decisions.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Effective communicator with experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to the quality standards typical of luxury goods production.

Experience
Mid-level role requiring approximately 3+ years of hands-on production planning or supply chain experience, preferably within luxury goods, watchmaking, jewelry or precision manufacturing.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration or equivalent vocational training.
