PEGA Senior Developer
Richemont seeks a PEGA Senior Developer in Moscavide, Portugal — senior Pega developer to design and deliver enterprise Pega solutions for global luxury maisons.

Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications on the Pega Platform, including case management, decisioning and process orchestration.
- Translate business requirements into scalable Pega solutions; author rules, flows, data models and integrations following Pega best practices and design patterns.
- Lead technical design sessions and produce clear technical specifications, solution diagrams and implementation plans.
- Implement and manage integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP and message-based patterns; ensure data integrity and performance across interfaces.
- Ensure application quality through code reviews, automated testing, performance tuning and adherence to release management and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to maintain service levels.
- Mentor junior developers, promote knowledge sharing and enforce development standards across the Pega lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, QA and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end solutions for global stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven proficiency with the Pega Platform and practical experience delivering Pega-based solutions in production environments.
- Pega certifications such as CSA, CSSA or equivalent professional accreditation preferred.
- Strong technical foundation in object-oriented programming, data modelling and integration technologies.
- Demonstrable experience working in Agile delivery teams and familiarity with SDLC governance in enterprise contexts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

At least five years of hands-on Pega development experience with a track record of delivering enterprise projects; broader enterprise software experience is expected and advantageous.
