Richemont seeks an Operations Manager in Scandicci, Italy to lead site production, quality and logistics for luxury goods.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day site operations to ensure on-time delivery, cost control and adherence to luxury-quality standards.
  • Develop and execute production planning, resource allocation and capacity forecasting across SKUs and product lines.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols, corrective actions and continuous-improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen).
  • Manage supply‑chain and vendor relationships, coordinating inbound materials, inventory levels and distribution to meet order fulfilment targets.
  • Establish, track and report operational KPIs; drive performance reviews and implement remediation plans where necessary.
  • Ensure workplace health & safety, regulatory compliance and corporate governance at site level.
  • Line-manage cross-functional teams including production, quality, logistics and maintenance; recruit, coach and develop talent to meet growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with central functions (design, sourcing, planning, finance) and external stakeholders to align operations with brand and commercial objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership in a manufacturing or production environment within the luxury, fashion or premium consumer goods sector.
  • Track record of delivering operational improvements and meeting production targets while maintaining stringent quality standards.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous-improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in operations planning and inventory management with a data-driven approach to KPI monitoring.
  • Demonstrable capability to manage cross-functional teams and to influence stakeholders at regional and central levels.

Experience

Typically requires 5+ years of progressive operations experience, including at least 2–3 years in a managerial role within manufacturing or production for luxury or premium goods. Experience must demonstrate successful delivery of production targets, quality programs and cross-functional collaboration.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Management, Business Administration or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience may be accepted.
