Richemont seeks an Operations Manager in Austin to lead retail operations, inventory and store performance for its luxury maisons.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day retail and service operations for Richemont maisons in the Austin region, ensuring flawless execution of brand standards.
  • Manage inventory control, replenishment processes and stock integrity to minimise shrinkage and optimise availability.
  • Coordinate logistics and vendor relationships, including inbound/outbound shipments and third‑party service providers.
  • Develop and monitor operational KPIs, produce regular performance reports, and implement corrective action plans to drive efficiency and profitability.
  • Own scheduling, workforce planning and operational training programs to ensure staffing aligns with business demand and luxury service expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, loss prevention protocols and health & safety requirements.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales leadership, visual merchandising, client services and corporate support teams to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership capability with a track record of managing multi‑site or multi‑discipline retail operations in the luxury or premium sector.
  • Demonstrable experience with inventory management, logistics coordination and loss‑prevention strategies.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with experience monitoring KPIs and implementing process improvements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence at store and corporate levels.
  • Experience recruiting, coaching and developing frontline and supervisory teams to deliver elevated client service.

Experience

Typically 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in retail or luxury operations management, including direct responsibility for inventory, staffing and performance metrics; experience within maison luxury brands is highly desirable.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred; business, retail management or supply‑chain related disciplines are advantageous.
