Richemont seeks an Operations & Workplace Manager in Milan to oversee workplace services, facilities and vendor relationships.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day workplace operations for the Milan office, ensuring a safe, efficient and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
  • Manage third-party service providers and contractors for facilities maintenance, security, cleaning, reception and building systems; negotiate contracts and monitor SLAs.
  • Plan and deliver workplace projects and fit-outs, coordinating internal stakeholders, external suppliers, budgets and timelines.
  • Administer office space planning, move management and desk allocation to optimise utilisation and support hybrid ways of working.
  • Develop and manage the workplace operations budget, approve expenditures and implement cost-control measures.
  • Ensure compliance with local health & safety, fire and building regulations and lead related audits and emergency preparedness activities.
  • Implement workplace policies and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the employee experience and operational resilience.
  • Coordinate vendor procurement, invoice validation and lease administration in partnership with finance and real estate teams.
  • Support corporate events, VIP visits and ad hoc operational needs with a high level of service and attention to detail.
  • Report on workplace KPIs and present operational updates to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of managing facilities and workplace services in a corporate or luxury environment.
  • Strong vendor and contract management experience, including SLA development and procurement processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and capital/expenditure forecasting.
  • Knowledge of local health & safety and building compliance requirements; audit experience preferred.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple internal functions.

Experience

Typically 5+ years of progressive experience in facilities, workplace or operations management, including hands-on vendor management and delivery of workplace projects; experience within luxury retail, corporate headquarters or professional services is advantageous.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
