Operations & Trade Marketing Manager
Richemont seeks an Operations & Trade Marketing Manager in New York to lead trade strategy, retail operations and cross‑channel activations.

Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute trade marketing strategies and activation plans for the assigned market, aligning brand positioning with commercial objectives.
- Coordinate product launches and seasonal campaigns with brand marketing, merchandising and retail teams to maximise sell-through and brand consistency.
- Manage trade promotional budgets, incentives and ROI analysis; prioritise spend to drive category growth and margin performance.
- Partner with regional and local sales teams to translate commercial targets into channel-specific plans (retail, wholesale, e‑commerce, travel retail).
- Develop and deliver retailer and retail‑staff training programmes, sales tools and point‑of‑sale materials to elevate client experience and conversion.
- Oversee retail operations initiatives – stock flow, assortment optimisation, replenishment priorities and visual merchandising guidelines.
- Monitor KPI performance (sell‑through, stock turn, sell‑out, promotional uplift) and produce actionable insight reports for stakeholders.
- Lead cross‑functional projects, liaise with supply chain, planning and finance to ensure operational readiness and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Retail Management or related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven background in trade marketing, commercial planning or retail operations within the luxury goods or premium consumer sector.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, promotions and P&L-relevant initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to influence brand and sales leadership.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in performance measurement and translating data into commercial actions.

Typically 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in trade marketing, commercial operations or retail management, ideally within the luxury or premium consumer goods sectors; demonstrable experience running multi‑channel activations and cross‑functional projects.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Retail Management or related field; advanced degree (MBA or Master’s) preferred.
