Marketing Manager — Watchmaking
Richemont is hiring a Marketing Manager — Watchmaking in Tokyo to lead watch product and brand marketing across Japan.

Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute integrated marketing strategies for watch collections across Japan, aligning product positioning with maison and global brand directives.
- Plan and manage product launches, seasonal campaigns and editorial calendars, coordinating creative, PR, retail and wholesale activations.
- Oversee agency partners and cross‑functional stakeholders (product, sales, e‑commerce, PR) to ensure consistent brand expression and on‑time delivery.
- Manage marketing budgets and track campaign performance using KPIs; produce regular performance reports and actionable insights.
- Develop trade and retail marketing materials, in‑store merchandising concepts and sales enablement tools to support boutiques and wholesale partners.
- Coordinate high‑profile events and client experiences (salons, trunk shows, VIP appointments) in close collaboration with client relations teams.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity and consumer insights to inform product communications and go‑to‑market recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent; advanced degree a plus.
- Demonstrable knowledge of watchmaking and the luxury watch market, including product categories, terminology and clientele.
- Proven ability to deliver integrated marketing campaigns from strategy through execution in a brand‑led environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and measuring marketing ROI.
- Proven stakeholder management skills with experience working across creative, retail and wholesale functions.
Skills
Experience
Typically 5+ years of progressive marketing experience within luxury goods, preferably with direct exposure to watchmaking or high‑end accessories. Experience managing cross‑functional projects, external agencies and multi‑channel campaigns is essential.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field; MBA or comparable advanced qualification preferred but not required.
