Richemont seeks a Marketing Director in Seoul to lead brand and commercial marketing for its luxury maisons in Korea.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the brand and commercial marketing strategy for the Korean market, aligning local priorities with global brand architecture and corporate objectives.
  • Lead and develop a cross-functional local marketing team, setting clear objectives, KPIs and performance standards.
  • Localize global campaigns and product launches, overseeing creative adaptation, merchandising guidance and in-market implementation across retail and digital channels.
  • Own planning and management of the marketing budget and P&L-related activities to optimise ROI and ensure disciplined spend.
  • Coordinate agency partners (creative, digital, PR, events) and internal stakeholders to deliver integrated, omnichannel campaigns and flagship activations.
  • Drive customer acquisition and retention initiatives through CRM, loyalty and digital-commerce collaboration with regional e‑commerce teams.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and consumer insights to refine positioning and identify growth opportunities in Korea.
  • Report regularly to regional and global marketing leadership with clear measurement of campaign performance and business impact.

Qualifications

  • Proven senior leadership in marketing with deep experience in luxury goods, fashion, watches or jewellery.
  • Track record of translating global brand strategies into effective local campaigns and commercial outcomes.
  • Demonstrable experience managing multimillion-dollar marketing budgets and external agency relationships.
  • Strong analytical orientation with experience using KPIs and data to inform strategy and measure ROI.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional and regional teams.

Experience

Senior marketing professional with typically 8–12 years of progressive experience, including at least 5 years in leadership roles within the luxury sector or premium consumer brands, and demonstrable experience operating in the Korean or APAC market.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related discipline; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
