Richemont seeks a Sales Associate for its Fifth Avenue boutique in New York — deliver exceptional client service and drive luxury sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, discreet client service consistent with Richemont brand standards; cultivate and sustain long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through consultative selling, upselling and cross-selling of the maison's product range.
  • Maintain deep product knowledge and convey provenance, materials and craftsmanship to clients with confidence and accuracy.
  • Manage transactional duties at point-of-sale, including accurate cash handling, payment processing and order fulfilment.
  • Support visual merchandising and boutique presentation standards; participate in stock management, replenishment and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Assist with private client appointments, in-store events and VIP experiences, coordinating with store management and cross-functional teams as required.
  • Adhere to compliance, privacy and operational procedures, including client data entry and CRM updates.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in retail sales, preferably within luxury, jewelry or watches.
  • Polished professional presentation and strong interpersonal skills suited to a high-net-worth clientele.
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Right to work in the United States.

Experience

Typically 2+ years of retail sales experience with demonstrated success in a luxury or premium-brand environment; prior experience handling high-value transactions and VIP clients preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary study in retail, hospitality or a related discipline is advantageous but not required.
