Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute leather-goods production tasks including cutting, stitching, edge finishing and assembly according to technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Operate and maintain manual and industrial sewing equipment and basic leatherworking tools with care and attention to safety.
  • Perform visual and tactile quality control at each stage of production; identify and report defects or non-conformities to line supervisors.
  • Follow production workflows and work orders, ensuring adherence to tolerances, seams and finishing details defined by technical dossiers.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe workstation, contributing to a disciplined atelier environment and efficient line throughput.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to meet delivery schedules and support continuous improvement initiatives in craftsmanship and process.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must be eligible under Italy's Law 68/1999 (reserved-quotas for persons with disabilities), as indicated in the posting.
  • Demonstrable manual dexterity and fine motor skills suited to detailed leatherwork.
  • Basic ability to read simple technical drawings or production tickets; numeracy sufficient for measuring and trimming tolerances.
  • Willingness to learn and follow precise artisanal methods and to work within a production team environment.
  • Previous experience in leather goods, footwear or small-assembly manufacturing is advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience
