Industrial Financial Controller
Richemont seeks an Industrial Financial Controller in Buttes, Switzerland to lead manufacturing cost control and site financial reporting.

Role & Responsibilities
- Own monthly and quarterly financial reporting for the manufacturing site, delivering accurate management reports and actionable variance analysis to plant leadership and central finance.
- Prepare cost accounting, product costing and inventory valuation; ensure margins and cost of goods sold are correctly reflected in management and statutory accounts.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and rolling-plan updates for the industrial site; identify cost‑saving opportunities and track delivery of efficiency initiatives.
- Partner with Operations, Purchasing and Supply Chain to translate operational KPIs into financial outcomes and support continuous-improvement projects from a financial perspective.
- Support month-end close activities, reconciliations and internal controls for plant-level accounts; implement and maintain cost-accounting policies and procedures.
- Drive ad hoc financial analyses, investment appraisals and business cases for capital projects or process changes at the manufacturing site.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to translate manufacturing operations into financial metrics and commercial recommendations.
- Strong analytical rigour, attention to detail and comfort with large datasets.
- Capacity to influence cross-functional stakeholders and present complex financial information clearly to non-finance audiences.
- High degree of integrity and experience operating within financial control frameworks and audit processes.
Skills
Experience
Typically 3–5 years of progressive experience in management/industrial controlling, cost accounting or financial planning within a manufacturing or production environment; experience with multi‑site operations and cross‑functional projects is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent; a master's degree or professional accounting qualification is advantageous.
