Richemont seeks an HSE Manager in Mexico City to lead health, safety and environmental programs across local operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and continuously improve the local HSE management system in alignment with Richemont group standards and relevant international norms (e.g. ISO 45001/ISO 14001).
  • Ensure compliance with Mexican occupational health, safety and environmental regulations and oversee permit-to-work, licensing and statutory reporting.
  • Lead risk assessments, HSE audits and inspections across manufacturing, atelier and retail operations; define corrective actions and track closure.
  • Manage incident investigation and root-cause analysis, produce corrective/preventive action plans and deliver timely reporting to regional/global HSE stakeholders.
  • Design and deliver HSE training, toolbox talks and behavioural safety programmes for employees, contractors and suppliers.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness and business continuity planning, including drills and liaison with local authorities.
  • Oversee contractor safety management, occupational hygiene monitoring and hazardous materials handling.
  • Provide regular HSE performance metrics, dashboards and management reports to senior leadership; support sustainability and waste-reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
  • Professional certification in health & safety (e.g. NEBOSH, or national equivalent) preferred.
  • Fluency in local regulatory requirements for occupational safety and environmental protection in Mexico.

Experience

Several years of progressive experience in health, safety and environmental roles, including hands-on exposure to manufacturing or retail operations; prior leadership responsibility and experience implementing HSE systems in Mexico or Latin America is strongly preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial or Chemical Engineering, or comparable field.
