HR Operations Coordinator
Richemont is hiring an HR Operations Coordinator in Johannesburg — manage HR administration and payroll coordination for the luxury group's local teams.

Role & Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract administration, changes in employment status and offboarding.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases to ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal policy and applicable South African legislation.
- Coordinate payroll inputs and liaise with payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate salary, benefits and statutory deductions.
- Support HRIS administration and continuous improvement of HR processes, data flows and reporting routines.
- Produce regular HR reports and metrics for People Partners and business managers; track headcount, leave, absenteeism and other operational KPIs.
- Act as first point of contact for HR operational queries from employees and line managers, escalating complex employee relations issues to People Partners.
- Ensure confidentiality of employee information and contribute to compliance initiatives (employment law, data protection).
- Participate in HR projects and support implementation of policy, system roll-outs and local initiatives across retail and corporate sites.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- Formal HR certification or coursework (e.g., national HR diploma or recognised professional qualification) preferred.
- Demonstrable knowledge of South African labour legislation and data protection requirements.
- Strong numerical literacy and experience producing HR reports and analyses.

Experience
Approximately 2–4 years of hands-on HR operations experience, ideally within retail, hospitality, luxury goods or multi-site corporate environments, with exposure to payroll processes and HRIS systems.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline; professional HR certification preferred.
