Richemont seeks an HR Manager (1-year contract) for Baume & Mercier in Meyrin, Switzerland — lead HR operations, talent management and Swiss compliance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR Business Partner for Baume & Mercier in Meyrin, advising leadership on people strategy and operational HR matters during the one-year mandate.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for Swiss-based roles, coordinating with Group Talent Acquisition and external partners to secure high-calibre candidates.
  • Oversee employee relations and case management, ensuring fair and compliant resolution of workplace issues in line with Swiss labour law.
  • Drive performance management processes, talent reviews and succession planning; support managers in setting objectives and conducting reviews.
  • Implement and maintain HR policies and local procedures; ensure alignment with Richemont Group standards and local regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate learning & development initiatives, local training logistics and partnerships with Group L&D where applicable.
  • Provide payroll and compensation administration support by liaising with payroll providers and Group Compensation teams to ensure accurate delivery.
  • Support change management projects and local HR initiatives, including temporary programmes tied to organizational or operational shifts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline; Master’s or HR certification (e.g., CIPD, HRCI) preferred.
  • Proven competence in Swiss labour law and local HR compliance; experience working with employee representative bodies is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to advise senior managers and act as a trusted business partner.
  • Excellent organisational skills, discretion and capacity to handle confidential matters with integrity.
  • Professional command of French and English (spoken and written) to engage with local teams and Group stakeholders.

Experience

Typically 5+ years of progressive HR experience with proven delivery as an HR generalist or HR Business Partner; experience in luxury goods or manufacturing and prior exposure to Swiss operations strongly preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; advanced degree or professional HR certification preferred.
