Health, Safety & Environment Specialist
Richemont seeks a Health, Safety & Environment Specialist in Amsterdam to lead EHS compliance, risk management and training across its sites.

Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures aligned with group standards and local Dutch/EU regulations.
- Deliver site-level risk assessments, inspections and audits; identify hazards and drive corrective and preventive actions to closure.
- Lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses, producing clear reports and tracking learnings into organisational improvements.
- Design and deliver HSE training and awareness programmes for operational, retail and corporate staff; monitor training effectiveness and compliance.
- Manage environmental aspects including waste streams, hazardous materials, emissions reporting and initiatives to minimise environmental impact.
- Support pre-qualification and oversight of contractors and suppliers for HSE competence and compliance.
- Compile and present regular HSE performance metrics, regulatory filings and management reports to stakeholders.
- Liaise with local authorities, external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and readiness for inspections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Professional qualification such as NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent recognised HSE certification.
- Practical knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards, including implementation and audit experience.
- Fluency in English; working knowledge of Dutch is strongly preferred for regulatory liaison and on-site communications.
- Valid driving licence for site visits across the region (preferred).

Experience
Typically 3–5 years of hands-on HSE experience in an industrial, manufacturing or retail operations environment, preferably within the luxury, retail or consumer goods sectors; demonstrable experience running audits, investigations and compliance programmes in a multi-site or multi-brand context.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or equivalent. Professional HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH) highly desirable.
