Health & Safety Trainee
Richemont in Milan seeks a Health & Safety Trainee to support EHS activities, audits and compliance across local operations.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Milan EHS team in day-to-day health, safety and environmental activities across sites and points of sale.
- Assist with routine site inspections, workplace risk assessments and safety audits, documenting findings and following up on corrective actions.
- Contribute to incident investigations by collecting evidence, preparing factual reports and tracking remediation measures.
- Maintain and update H&S records, registers and compliance documentation in accordance with internal procedures and legal requirements.
- Help prepare and deliver safety communications and training sessions (toolbox talks, inductions) for operational teams.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external service providers (occupational health, contractors) to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor regulatory developments relevant to Italian and EU occupational health and safety and escalate implications to the EHS team.
- Support continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives related to workplace safety and environmental performance.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or recent graduate of a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrable interest in EHS disciplines and willingness to develop technical knowledge of safety management systems and legal requirements.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the capacity to engage operational teams and stakeholders.
- Eligibility to work in Italy.
- Preferred: basic certification such as NEBOSH or equivalent, or prior internship experience in an industrial, manufacturing or retail environment.

No prior professional experience required; internships or previous exposure to EHS, manufacturing, logistics or retail operations will be considered an advantage.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or current enrolment in a related programme.
